Validation Workshop – Copenhagen, Denmark (27–28 November 2024)
The Validation Workshop, held on 27–28 November 2024 at Bispebjerg University Hospital in Copenhagen, centered on refining quality assurance procedures and validating the first draft modules.
Partners reviewed stakeholder mapping, identifying key clinics and professionals involved in pediatric lymphedema care across each partner country. Detailed discussions covered content accuracy, peer-review standards, and harmonization between national modules.
Participants also addressed complex clinical topics such as compression therapy and manual lymphatic drainage in children, acknowledging the current gaps in clinical evidence and the need for shared guidelines.
By the end of the workshop, partners had agreed on a unified reporting structure, periodic updates, and external review mechanisms to ensure the scientific and educational credibility of the project outcomes.
